Exploring Indonesia’s Secret Paradise – Kei Kecil Island

Our last day in Indonesia on our Asian Island Odyssey voyage was special.

Coming ashore at the Kei Kecil Island, we walked across a stunning white sand beach surrounded by coconut palms and flags to mark our welcome. 

We were treated to a local dance featuring young archers and a group of local women. The red loin cloths set on the pure white sand beach and blue ocean were breathtaking.

The Kei Kecil islanders then treated us to a delicious selection of local foods and fruit before we enjoyed a tour of the nearby village. After soaking in the serene surroundings, we boarded Zodiacs to snorkel on a beautiful reef enjoying the vibrant array of corals and fish.

During lunch on board, Heritage Adventurer relocated to our last destination of the voyage, but with the excitement of somewhere new, somewhere Heritage Adventurer had never visited. We were ready for an expedition afternoon at Adranan Island, a tiny atoll fringed by a coral reef. We set foot on the luscious sandy beach for our final snorkel, beach stroll, and chilled drinks to pass the afternoon. It was a stunning finish to such a great expedition.
