Sensational seabirds on The Snares Islands

After sailing from the Auckland Islands, we arrived at The Snares Islands before lunch. We made the most of the conditions with a Zodiac cruise between Broughton Island and The Snares to see the always-entertaining Snares Crested Penguins. By the time we returned to Heritage Adventurer, the wind had increased to 30 Knots, and the passage between Broughton had become too rough to return. So instead, we enjoyed a fabulous ship cruise soaking in the towering granite landscape and abundant birdlife.

We celebrated a fantastic 11 days in the Subantarctic Islands with the Captain's Farewell and Steve Bradley’s incredible photo show of the voyage.
