An Auckland Islands adventure!
Today was off to a fantastic start as we explored the huge caldera of Carnley Harbour in the Auckland Islands. We enjoyed a ship tour of the historic sites, marvelling at the expansive cliffsides, followed by a Zodiac tour among the Bellbirds and Tūīs at Camp Cove.
Afterwards, everyone visited the Anjou castaway depot before we headed to Musgrave Inlet. Here, we enjoyed an unforgettable Zodiac cruise, marvelling at dramatic volcanic rock formations, Rockhopper Penguins and Light-mantled Sooty Albatross on nests. It was a fantastic experience with the sun shining and the water a tranquil blue with giant kelp beds everywhere.
