Sailing into Port Chalmers

Spirit of Enderby, Port Otago arrival, D.Bowen

It's an overcast day in Dunedin as we pull into the calm waters of Port Chalmers and dock Spirit of Enderby at Port Otago. Celebrating the successes of our first Southern Ocean voyage of the season, we enjoy our final breakfast together before farewelling our Birding Down Under expeditioners as they embark on their next adventure.

There is a busy day and night ahead for our expedition team and crew who have to prep Spirit of Enderby for her next voyage Galapagos of the Southern Ocean heading south tomorrow for the wilds of Macquarie Island and New Zealand's Subantarctic Islands.
