A spectacular day on the isolated Loh Island

After an incredible few days exploring the Solomon Islands, our Discover the Secrets of Melanesia voyage saw us arrive in Vanuatu. Our first stop was the isolated Torres Islands, where fewer than 100 visitors land annually. The entire Loh Island community turned out to welcome us with guitars, songs and a special dance that only occurs here.

We walked across the island to one of the most stunning beaches in the South Pacific to see the spectacular cultural show. Afterwards, many enjoyed swimming in the surf and a gorgeous deep-water snorkel with 100 feet visibility in the afternoon.
