Moist Epigwatt Morning

A few braved the light rain this morning to make a landing at Epigwatt to see what remains of the wreck of the ‘Grafton’ which ran aground in Carnley Harbour in 1864. The five men aboard all survived and the remains of the hut they called home for 18 months can still be seen. Some time was spent in search of the Yellow-crowned Parakeet in the moist and mossy Rata forest but very few made an appearance for the cameras.
