Enderby Exploits
The group was shuttled ashore under cloudy skies at Sandy Bay where they had their first taste of Sea Lion hospitality. Once past the inquisitive and bellowing beasts they made their way along the boardwalk across the island, then split into small groups to observe the wildlife. Several Subantarctic Snipe, Yellow Eyed Penguins and Southern Royal and Light-mantled Sooty Albatross were seen. There was also a juvenile Elephant Seal hauled out on the beach oblivious to the noisy male Sea Lions sparring around him.
