Kiwi Scientists Test Health of Yellow-eyed Penguin Population

Newshub have just published an interesting article about the Yellow-Eyed Penguins on Enderby Island. This footage was filmed while Newshub reporter Thomas Mead was recently aboard our ship the 'Spirit of Enderby.'

Check out the video here by Thomas, who took part in our 'Forgotten Islands of the South Pacific' Expedition. The hardworking staff featured in this video spend four months a year tagging and monitoring around 1000 of these incredibly endangered Penguins.

If you would like to travel to Enderby Island to see the Yellow-Eyed Penguins or the Subantarctic Islands of New Zealand then have a look at our Expeditions. With numbers capped at only 50 passengers per expedition, they do sell out quickly.
