Starting our Raja Ampat adventure
Our Indonesian Explorer voyage saw us start our three-day Raja Ampat adventure by arriving at the turquoise waters of Tidore Island in the Boo Islands group. This area is the most remote and least visited group of islands in Raja Ampat and is home to some stunning views. We enjoyed a walk on the white beach, snorkel, and Zodiac cruise around the island where we met friendly locals on traditional wooden boats.
In the afternoon it was a visit to the picturesque Kofiau Island and a walk to Hebera Lake through groves of orchids. Here we observed a range of Frigatebirds soaring above and triplefin fish swimming in the lake.
