At Sea off Herald Island
Today was the perfect shipboard day to relax and unwind from our adventures thus far. Naturalist Guide Dan shared the story of Ada Blackjack, and Biologist Christoph delivered a presentation on Arctic Governance and Climate Change. Having concluded our time on Wrangel Island, Kapitan Khlebnikov sailed east to Herald Island, then along its misty, steep and craggy coastline where the silhouette of a Polar Bear could be seen watching our passage from atop one of the cliffs.
