Foggy Morning

Wednesday morning heralded very strong winds and low lying fog, which scrapped our plans for a Mt Honey bash. Most rolled over and stayed in their bunks til well after the 5am sunrise when warming rays worked wonders and soon burned off the fog. Many then made the late morning Zodiac cruise and short tramp up to the old Coast Watchers Hut. The remaining brave souls trekked up the board walk on bended knees with our resident botanist to inventory the plethora of flowering succulents. We weighed anchors just after lunch and set a course for the 16 hours high sea adventure to Enderby Island. Everyone strapped down their gear and settled in for a few lectures on what we had encountered in the past 36 hours as well as what to expect tomorrow.
