Curious Chinstrap Penguins at Young Island

(c)_n.russ,_heritage_expeditions_-_departing_antarctica

Before departing Antarctica Spirit of Enderby visited Young Island, the northernmost and westernmost of the Balleny Islands. An amazing day was spent Zodiac Cruising with increcible views of all three of the Balleny Islands. A cheeky Chinstrap Penguin even decided he wanted to come for a ride and jumped into two Zodiacs!

We now make our way North to warmer weather with our hearts full after an incredible time in the Ross Sea with too many highlights to list.
