Cape Adare and Katabatic Winds

We woke to a clear blue-sky morning as we sat anchored off of Ridley Beach in Robinson Bay. Sadly, katabatic winds plagued us today foiling any chance of a landing at the historic Borchgrevink hut on Ridley Beach, but the view of the Mt. Minto and Dugdale Glacier were fantastic. Midday we bid the continent goodbye traveling through icebergs and set our sights for the seldom-visited Balleny Islands.
