Brown Bear and Bird Cliffs at Preobrazheniya Bay
Today dawned with rough seas and unpredictable winds as Spirit of Enderby sailed towards Preobrazheniya Bay. Arriving in the afternoon, conditions calmed allowing for a Zodiac cruise to Chipatyn Cape where we observed a brown bear strolling the rocky slope before crossing the bay to visit the towering bird cliffs where guillemots, puffins, gulls and auklets filled the skies around as we navigated the coves and bays. We are now sailing towards Yttygran and world famous Whale Bone Alley.
