Beluga Whale watching as we begin our Wrangel Island Expedition
We hadn't even officially sailed on our Across the Top of the World expedition yet, and we were already being given a taster of the amazing wildlife sightings that can be encountered in this region; a number of Beluga whales were swimming within 10m of our new home the Spirit of Enderby, along with hundreds of Largha Seals who were feasting on the salmon which have justed started their run up the rivers in the region.
Leaving our new found friends behind, we set sail to begin our adventure, accompanied by blue skies and flat seas.
