Snares Prove Tricky

Unfortunately NW swells have prevented us from taking a Zodiac cruise along the rocky shores of The Snares today, but we have been able to manoeuvre the ship close enough to make out the Snares Crested Penguins on shore and many have also been seen swimming near the ship. We have also had clear sightings of the Southern Royal Albatross and Salvins Albatross. Numerous nimble Pintado Cape Petrels have also kept us company as we travelled south along the coast from Dunedin. We are now on course to Enderby Island.
