Rolling Towards Macca

Sea days all start to blend into one with the process of eating, sleeping, watching the waves (at times in awe) and talking about the next round of adventures to be had at Macca. Today the lecture room and theatre was fully operational as we pushed north at 12 kts with a 3-5mtr following sea. It is overcast and the waves are impressive. We passed through the Antarctic Circle again yesterday and today at 60 degrees south we are back in the real world of the ‘Furious 50’s’. It would be ugly going south into this! So we are being mentally stimulated, inspired and entertained, our taste buds are working overtime and the anticipation is real thinking about the King Penguins and giant Elephant Seals that await our arrival at Macquarie Island in two days time.
