True Young(est) Explorers
Heritage Expeditions welcomed it's youngest True Young Explorers ever earlier this week during a surprise visit by students from Nakahama and Agarimichi Nursery Schools.
Our True Young(est) Explorers joined us on board while Heritage Adventurer was moored at Sakai Port Tottori during our visit to Matsue on our Discover Eternal Japan voyage.
Accompanied by our Purser Thea and Captain Tomasz, our inquisitive guests enjoyed a tour of Heritage Adventurer's Bridge followed by a delightful Q&A with Captain Tomasz where they grilled him with the eternal questions: Do you sleep? What is your favourite food? and How do you clean the ship? And more.
Everyone then made their way down to the Lounge on Deck 5 where, much to the delight of the ship's crew, the pint-sized explorers put on a showcase of their singing, dancing and cheerleading followed by a special presentation of much treasured origami creations.
After their lively demonstration it was time to enjoy ice cream, juice, sandwiches and chocolate cakes before returning to class.
It was truly an honour to host our new friends, and a wonderful reminder of the exciting moments to be had while expedition cruising.
