Gunther Reihle's stunning Heard Island image captured

Gunther Riehle travelled with Heritage Expeditions on our 2012 expedition to Heard Island, one of the most remote islands in the world. The expeditioners landed on the island in perfect conditions, remarkable given this island is notorious for its changeable weather and rough seas surrounding it. Gunther's image of a group of King Penguins in front of Big Ben, Australia's only active volcano, is entered in the Oceans of Life photographic competition, run in conjunction with the Save our Seabirds festival in South Africa.
