Breaking News: Potential Volcanic Activity on Heard Island
Our upcoming South Indian Ocean expedition has just got even more exciting! NASA reports that satellite pictures show Heard Island has 'signs of an eruption' - but this cannot be confirmed just yet due to the isolated location. We don't anticipate the volcanic activity to affect our expedition itinerary in any way, and we are in regular communication with the Australian Antarctic Division to monitor the situation. We're excited about the possibility of being the 'first on the scene'!
Voyage departs 8 November 2012 from Fremantle, WA. Berths are still available.
