Bird of the Year - Voting Closes Sunday!
The 'Bird of the Year' competition is reaching fever-pitch in New Zealand! Heritage Expeditions are supporting the Yellow-Eyed Penguin/Hoiho. This penguin is the rarest in the world with only 6000-7000 birds remaining.
Don't delay - you need to get your vote in as voting closes on Sunday (NZ time). Late last week there was so much fluttering on the website that it 'crashed' the Forest & Bird website but it is now back up-and-running.
You can cast your vote by going to the 'Bird of the Year' page here.
