The Top of the South: Explorations Beyond Marlborough Sounds
“We certainly endorse this expedition!”
“We were so pleasantly surprised by our Heritage Expeditions experience on the Top of the South expedition. The professionalism of our guides Max and Robbie, the skills of skipper Steve, the masterful skills Wayne our chef, the quiet efficiency of hostess Ella and the quiet efficiency of Hamish in keeping the boat operating smoothly ensured that we could relax and enjoy ourselves. Each day was full of surprises - and the perfect weather certainly enhanced the experiences. We must have spent at least 4 to 6 hours on the Tasman Sea and Cook Strait - and all of them were on a dead calm and flat sea. No whales though, unfortunately. We certainly endorse this expedition as a wonderful way to learn of the human, biological, physical and environmental history of the Marlborough Sounds and Abel Tasman National Park.”
