“There Was Not a Moment That I Wasn’t Fully Engaged”

“When I read about this trip in the AA Directions Spring 2023 issue I knew immediately that I had to go. And how right I was. Thank you Heritage Expeditions for making a trip like this possible. There was not a moment that I wasn’t fully engaged and soaking up the wonders of the experience. Walking on Campbell and Enderby Islands amongst the amazing flora and fauna while enjoying the vast open spaces was awe inspiring. But equally so was every zodiac cruise around the incredible and dramatic coastlines. It’s difficult to pick a highlight, but The Snares coastline with its thriving wildlife populations was breathtaking. I loved the majestic and mystical Fiords. I will never forget the lush green mosaic of coastal plant life, broken only by gushing waterfalls where seals splashed and went about their lives. Interesting , informative presentations were regularly given, both on board and while we were out and about. ‘Home’ on The Heritage Adventurer was perfect and luxurious in every way. Thank you to every member of the ship’s crew/staff . I never once saw a face without a smile. You were all wonderful. Best wishes to you all. ”
