Beyond Fiordland: New Zealand's Wildest Islands

“Truly Memorable”

“As I struggled against the strong westerly winds, the sight of an impervious Southern Royal Albatross on the slopes of Campbell Island highlighted how superbly adapted they are to this land. Two days of constantly shifting seas were forgotten, as our group revelled in this a alien place that belonged to the wildlife. That theme continued throughout our trip, with the opportunity to visit these far-flung islands, and their endemic species, a constant reminder of what life must have been like before human habitation arrived in New Zealand. The opportunity to visit the sub-antarctic islands is truly memorable, and the professionalism of the Heritage Expeditions staff was superb.”
