Spirit of Enderby Sails North on Western Pacific Odyssey

Spirit of Enderby departs Tauranga, H.Ahern, Heritage Expeditions

Most expeditioners joined the Heritage Expeditions team out on the deck and up in the bridge as Spirit of Enderby sailed out of Tauranga Harbour and into brilliant sunshine at 1830 hours, signalling the start of our 31-day expedition Western Pacific Odyssey.

Known in birding circles as WPO, this voyage offers exceptional birding opportunities through numerous latitudes and attracts both keen birders and travellers alike having discovered two new seabird species on previous voyages. On board, anticipation is high with the possibility of what awaits on this journey as we embark on another WPO adventure.
