SOE: Macquarie Island

It has been a busy few days since the last Antarctic expedition of this season departed on the 8th February from Bluff. We have explored the New Zealand Subantarctic Islands as well as Macquarie Island. We were lucky enough for the weather conditions to allow us a zodiac cruise at Lusitania Bay, home to thousands of penguins, and we have now set sail for Cape Adare.
