SOE: Lisinskaya Bay and Many Wildlife Encounters

The employee of the Museum told us about Bering’s expedition, the culture and life of Aleutians, the unique flora and fauna of Commander Islands, showed the skeleton of the extinct Steller sea cow.
In the afternoon, we traveled to the south of the island and made a landing in Lisinskaya Bay. The evening light illuminating the hills was gorgeous. On the marsh, we encountered an Arctic fox, and on the slope we saw a herd of reindeers.
Next morning we conducted a zodiac cruise along the cliffs of the Bay. We have met an Arctic fox, several sea otters and many sea birds around the boats.
