Seals on Ice

We have pushed through 300 miles of ice of varying densities and are now in open water on our Ross Sea adventure and headed to Ross Island with an ETA late tomorrow night. The bonus of pushing through ice is the proximity of wildlife. Today for example we saw all four species of Antarctic Seals, Firstly there was yet another rare Ross’s seal, then a couple of Weddell Seals, one lone Leopard Seal and numerous Crab Eaters.
