New Crew Set to Sail

The last group of expeditioners for the 2014 northern season disembarked when we arrived on schedule in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy on Wednesday 17 September. Since then the ship has been a hive of activity as the crew for the Russian season departed and essential maintenance was carried out. The crew who will operate the vessel as she sails south for the Melanesia and Southern Ocean season settled in as a passing storm did its best to dampen their enthusiam. We are now all set to sail this evening and will endeavour to send updates on our progress along the way.
