Macquarie Island awaits
Today marks our first day at Australia's wildlife sanctuary, Macquarie Island. Highlights of the expedition so far include a four hour Zodiac cruise at the Snares, and an exploration of Enderby Islands in the Auckland Islands. We also enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner, prepared with care by our chefs, as the Spirit of Enderby sat off Enderby Island. We've now made our way to Macquarie Island, where we are planning the next two days of landing and zodiac cruises (weather and sea conditions permitting).
