Exploring the Solomons
Our start this morning was early but not as much as the previous few days as we prepared to discover a new area. We loaded into the zodiacs and went cruising slowly down a mangrove-lined, un-named channel looking for whatever we could find. We saw several birds including many different parrots, some raptors and we all had a good look at mustached tree swift. Later in the morning we stopped landed at Onua Island and were warmly greeted with music, songs and dancing at the lovely little village of Pirumeri.
