Coast Watchers Erie

The low grey clouds are occasionally broken by patches of pastel blue as we cruise Port Ross today, looking in on the abandoned settlement of Hardwicke. This afternoon we will ascend to the old Coast Watchers hut at Ranui Cove to enjoy the view from the look-out over the Southern Ocean. The extra day spent at Enderby Island during this unique photography voyage has been a rare treat and everyone is enjoying the day at anchor. Tomorrow we will head towards the southern coast of Auckland Island.
