Another beautiful day in the Chukchi Sea. We are still surrounded by ice and where there is ice, there are Polar Bears. We had another sighting this evening with a bear on an icefloe eating his dinner. It looked like seal was on the menu tonight. Work was put on hold as everyone went out on deck with cameras and binoculars. Tonight we will head south again so that may be our last encounter with the mighty predator.
