Arawa Bougainville

We had an early start to prepare for a landing at Arawa, Bougainville for our last day in Papua New Guinea. The bird watchers went into the forest while the rest of us visited the abandoned Pagani copper mine. After collecting the bird watchers (who had had a very successful morning) we went on a short forest walk and returned to Arawa for a spectacular sing-sing at the newly opened Mr Pip Library. After lunch, kayaking, snorkelling and swimming was on the agenda.
