Spoonies Search Begins

The search has begun in earnest for the elusive Spoon-billed Sandpipers. We have been busy deploying teams at various locations determined by satellite imagery as suitable habitats for the birds. Today teams have been out since early morning and we don't expect to pick the last of them up until late this evening. The habitat looks promising, so we await a radio message confirming a find.
