Bowen Aboard

We set sail around midday on 15 December with a new group of adventurers on the first of two Forgotten Islands of the South Pacific voyages this season. As soon as we left the harbour we encountered 4 metre swells which persisted throughout the next two days, ensuring everyone had a taste of the real Southern Ocean. Heritage Expeditions GM, Dave Bowen was a last minute team member aboard when injury to one of the chefs created the need for a kitchen hand. It is good to see his culinary skills coming to the fore as he chops vegetables in the galley.
