Zodiac Cruising Cape Adare
It was a brilliant day as we approached Cape Adare through very dramatic and spectacular ice, sunshine, fog patches and very light winds. We boarded the Zodiacs and headed for the shore but unfortunately a heavy swell did not allow us to make a landing. Unfazed we decided to continue on in the Zodiacs exploring the shoreline and were rewarded with clear sightings of Leopard and Crab Eater Seals and Adelie Penguins. Expeditioners are now tucking into a late lunch as we head into ‘Iceberg Alley’ towards Franklin and Ross Islands.
