Tropics Beckon

We are currently enduring stormy weather as we make our way south towards the Port of Madang in Papua New Guinea.

At the end of our Russian season we signed on the crew for the Southern season and embarked on 24 September from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy. As we leave behind the volcanoes of Kamchatka, the team is looking forward to exploring some of the little known islands of PNG and the Solomon Islands on the Melanesia Discoverer, an exciting new expedition for Heritage Expeditions. Keep an eye on this blog for regular updates as we discover remote tropical locations new to the Spirit of Enderby.

There are still a few berths available on our first Subantarctic voyage of the season, Birding Down Under departing 14 November. Contact the reservations team and join us!
