Tiny Turtles

Our last day on this expedition was spent visiting the Arnavon Community Marine Conservation Area Project on Kerehikapa where we witnessed over 200 tiny Hawksbill Turtles make their initial dash to the sea. Later we saw a wonderful array of bird and marine life as we swam, snorkelled or kayaked around the area. The group marked their last night on board the Spirit of Enderby with a wonderful buffet dinner and a recap of the highlights from Expedition Leader Aaron Russ. The voyage is drawing to an end and as Aaron said, we have all come away with a greater understanding of this fascinating part of the world.
