Sunshine in Anadyr
Passengers arriving in Anadyr for our second ‘Across the Top of the World’ voyage to Wrangel and Herald Islands were greeted by sunny and warm conditions. Resident Beluga Whales and Largha Seals escorted the barges that transferred them to the Spirit of Enderby. Once aboard they settled into their cabins and set about meeting fellow expeditioners as the setting sun dipped behind the town and we set a course northwards.
We are now heading for Yttygran Island where we plan to make a couple of landings before heading towards Cape Dezhnev and the Bering Strait.
