Stewart Island Sojurn

Due to a slight change in itinerary we diverted overnight and anchored in a bay off the beautiful, untouched southern end of Stewart Island. Mid morning we set sail once again and are making our way to Enderby Island. We have experienced fantastic sea conditions today enabling the group to attend three different lectures about the Hookers Sea Lion, pelagic birds and an introduction to the Auckland Islands. This afternoon in preparation for our landing at Enderby Island staff and passengers performed the bio-security procedure of vacuuming bags and outer layers to ensure no foreign seeds are transported to the island.
