Ross Sea Expeditions Begins

Our second and most ambitious 35 day Ross Sea Expedition got underway from Port of Bluff on 10th February. This expedition includes the Sub Antarctic Islands, the Ross Sea, including the Bay of Whales and the Balleny Islands and is scheduled to be back in NZ on 15th March.

Sea conditions so far have been kind to us, allowing us to Zodiac cruise at the Snares Island and spend a really great day at Enderby Island in the Auckland Islands. We are enroute to Macquarie Island as I write this. We plan two days there before setting a course to the Ross Sea.
