Preparing for Upcoming Russian Arctic Expeditions

After a very successful first part of the Russian Far East season, the crew are taking advantage of clear skies and a calm anchorage in Egvikinot to make preparations for the upcoming expeditions in Chukotka and to Wrangel Island.  After long days of sorting out the stores, maintaining Zodiacs, and painting the decks, we were rewarded last night with a beautiful Arctic sunset that seemed to fall like a blanket over the tundra.

We are looking forward to welcoming our next expeditioners aboard 'Chukotka:Where Russia's Day Begins' on 18 July.
