Polar Bears on Ice
It’s our second to last day here at Wrangel Island and as I write this we are working our way through ice in search of Polar Bears. With so much ice around we don't have to land to see them.
We have been hugely successful this morning with 8 great encounters since 8am, the last one very close to the ship. What is particularly encouraging is that they all look in good condition. If ice conditions permit, we plan landings at Cape Warring and Rodgers Inlet.
