Ice Encountered
At 0130 we began bashing through the ice streaming south from Wrangel Island as we hit Polar Bear territory with Walrus, Bowhead and Minke Whale sightings before breakfast.

Thousands of Puffins provided a colourful highlight on the Russian polar outpost of Kaluchin Island today.
