Heard Island Arrival
19-11-2012We arrived at Heard Island at 0600 hours this morning, just as the next weather front arrived. The temperature has dropped and there are snow showers, but it can’t last forever. Right now we are cruising off shore waiting for the northerly swell to ease and weather to improve so we can launch the Zodiacs. We hope to make our much anticipated first landing tomorrow morning.
