Farewell to the Pacific Islands

We dropped anchor in Port Vila in the early hours of Sunday morning and this marked the end of our amazing expedition to the outermost, remote islands of the Solomon Islands and Northern Vanuatu.

As the time to disembark came closer, everyone began their goodbyes to the new friends they have made over the last eleven days. Our zodiacs pulled away from the gangway and expeditioners started there onwards travel home or to other adventures.

The Spirit of Enderby will now set sail for Port of Bluff, New Zealand and her next expedition starting on 17 November will mark the start of the 2016/2017 Southern Season and includes several voyages to the Subantarctic Islands and Antarctica.
