Dragons Welcome
Today was dedicated to exploration of the Sepik River.

In the morning we were treated to a spectacular welcome from the villagers of Watam who escorted our fleet of Zodiacs by boat. Once ashore they led us into the village where we were greeted by a dragon, the symbol of the tribe. After lunch back aboard the ship we set out again to explore the wildlife along the river by Zodiac. Birds spotted included the Hornbill, White-bellied Sea Eagle and Brahminy Kite.
