SouthWest Cape Climb and Cruising at Carnley

We arrived at Carnley Harbour at 3am for a few calm hours of sleep before an early morning wake up call for breakfast and the departure of several hardy souls for the SouthWest Cape climb above Victoria Passage. The remaining expeditioners had a sunny and passing cloud filled morning cruising the shores of Carnley Harbour, and birding close in along the shores of Adams Island with good sightings of several target endemics. Our  afternoon departure was filled with several very good hours of Pelagic sightings as we headed out to the east-southeast with very calm 2 to 3 metre swells towards the predator free Campbell Island reserve.
