2 Feb Voyage: Shokalskiy Away
Immediately after the passengers had disembarked the Heritage operations team sprang into action to decommission the Akademik Shokalskiy after her two voyages for Heritage in the Southern Ocean. After a marathon day of unloading and resupplying she slipped her moorings just after midnight and cruised slowly away from the Port of Lyttelton to set a course for her home port of Vladivostok.
